Post 8: Let's talk about money

Hi everybody, today I'm going to talk about something, in my opinion, important in our culture to live: Money.

To me money, is important because without it, in our society is difficult to live, I mean, food, things, education, medicine... everything costs a lot of money!.

Nowadays I don't really spend much money, but when I do is for transport (transantiago), I spend like 2800 CLP a week on that. Also I use money to buy gifts or sometimes food but it isn't much (well, it depends on the occasion).

I'm a saver; I mean, I always keep money for emergency or whatever, so I believe that I'm good at managing my budget. Also I don't like be in debt, so I try to calculate how money I must have, and if I don't have it, then I don't buy it, or in case I have to buy/do something I don't do other things. 

If I were a millionaire, I don't know what I would do with so much money... I'd like to have lots of dogs and a big garden to them. I thing that part of my money would be saved to the future (who knows if money doesn't last for the eternity) and the other part I'd use it to whatever, for example, help if anybody needs it, or enjoy it, you know whatever, the idea is not to be scrooge.

If I had to pawn any of my belongings... I'm thinking that I don't have something really expensive to pawn, I believe that nobody will pay much money for any of my possesions, on the other hand I pawn whatever of my things but no some gifts that some important people have given me to me.

Post 7: How green are you?

Hi, today I'm going to talk about recycling.The truth is that in my family we don't have recycling habits, we only use biodegradable things, but we don't separate plastics from paper, glass or organic rubbish.
At school I learned some things, but at university (because of a teacher) I learned that exist different types of plastics, and to recycle them you must classify them.
It’s difficult to incorporate those practices in my home, because we live in a condom, and you have to take out the garbage in the condom entrance to the garbage trunk. In other words, the problem is even though we classify the things, the trunk would put those things together again and the work would be for nothing. Other complication would be that near my home there is nothing to recycle, I mean a place to leave the classified rubbish.
In transport, sometime I use my bike, but to go to a near places, because I have some problems or conditions to go outside in bike, for example, I don't go alone if I will return late also I live in Peñalolen but like in the mountain haha, so It is difficult go too far from there, because the return is horrible. But I'd like go in my bike to everywhere, but my main problem is time, I really can't be alone too late (when sun has set).
I've never been or supported any eco-organization. I don't know why, I think I know none.
To reduce my carbon footprint, every morning in my bedroom I disconnect every electrical thing and always I turn off the lights when nobody is there, same with the TV, or anything.
I think in our society we're missing places to recycling and culture about this. For example at parks would be nice have more trash can, but the ones to classify the garbage. Also we need more information about how those classifications are made.

So,that was the topic for today.

A nurse's aid infect with ebola

A nurse's aid is infected with ebola in Spain, is the first person with this disease out of Africa. Because of this it is so shocking to me, I mean if someone was able to get infected out of Africa, means that in any moment that disease might be extended to an another country an finally the rest of the world and there's no cure yet.

Two people were involved, the nursing assistant and the pacient who gave her (a 69 years old man).

This piece of news could affect my country because this could be an alert alarm. For example, the body's government might be more detailed with people who came to Chile.

I don't really know what kind of news I would to read or hear on TV, but I know that isn't the regular news you can hear or read  here, because they are  (mostly) stupid!. I mean, who cares what a model/singer  whatever do with her life, or if she bought something.
I'd like that our news were more cultural or important.
